About

This is a little project I started about TV. I love good television, and I’m also a technology geek. Right now the convergence of the two is changing the most powerful medium ever. I’m here to help you wade through the crap and watch the best programs when you want, wherever you want, and as legally as possible! Hooray for me!

Hi,
I’m a journalism student at NYU and I was doing a story on BitTorrent’s Entertainment Network. I was wondering if could talk to you about your experience using the BEN. If you could email me back that would be great.

Thank you,
Sarah

Hey,

I really like your blog. I’m a technology geek and a major tv watcher too. I run a site (http://trashwire.com) and I wanted to see if you’d link to us on your blog or in your blogroll. Let me know if you’re interested and keep up the good work.

Good afternoon –

Sorry, I don’t mean to make this the place for “link exchange” requests and all, but like Alexis, I’m a big TV fan, and a fan of your site and was interested in exchanging links to our respective blogs (I’ve added a link to your blog at mine, Quo Vadimus, http://swarheit.blogspot.com, and if you notice the Sports Night reference in the title of my blog, that wasn’t an accident). I’m currently a sports columnist so there’s a decent amount of sports analysis in the blog, but like you, I’ve been paying extra attention and writing a lot about the fall upfront news, and I’m one of the people who hopes to catch up on Friday Night Lights on DVD before next fall because I did not get a chance to watch the show as much as I wanted to this year.

Thanks a lot and feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

-Scott

Hi,

I would like to invite you to a special online advanced screening of “How to Look Good Naked”, Lifetime’s soon to be smash new reality series. See it before its premiere on January 4th! To register for the limited screening please head over to http://www.advancescreeningroom.com. Take a look around the site, watch the videos, and don’t forget to check out the sites section, Get Naked !!

About the Show:

Did you know that four out of five American women today say they are dissatisfied with their bodies? To help change their perception, Lifetime Television has crossed the Atlantic and brought Britain’s hit reality series “How to Look Good Naked” to the States. Hosted by Carson Kressley (“Queer Eye for the Straight Guy”), the show teaches women of all shapes and sizes how to go from self-loathing to self-loving without resorting to interventions like extreme dieting or cosmetic surgery.

In each half-hour episode, sharing his secrets from the world of fashion and beauty, Kressley guides one woman through a variety of activities – such as learning to dress appropriately for her body type, choosing the correct undergarments, and understanding the right way to style her hair and makeup – ultimately helping to change her self-image. Each episode celebrates the transformation with a glamorous Hollywood-style photo shoot in which the women not only accept what they see in the mirror – they show it off!

Thanks for your time and enjoy the show!!

Have a great weekend and a happy New Year!!

Best,
Myles
